Dylan Farmer
Of Counsel
Mr. Farmer’s practice focuses on school law, labor and employment issues, and other litigation throughout Texas. He represents school districts and other employers in state and federal courts, providing practical and strategic counsel on a broad range of workplace and contract-related matters. He has successfully defended claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the United States and Texas Constitutions, and related state anti-discrimination laws. He also has significant experience handling contract disputes. He has successfully managed litigation through all phases of the legal process, including trial and appeal. In addition to litigation, Mr. Farmer advises clients on employment agreements, workplace policies, employee handbooks, and other day-to-day business and employment matters. Mr. Farmer works closely with clients to develop practical solutions aimed at efficiently resolving disputes while minimizing operational disruption.
Mr. Farmer comes from a family of public school teachers and, prior to attending law school, he taught 8th Grade U.S. History at YES Prep Public Schools—an experience that provides him with a unique educator’s perspective when advising school district and education clients. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable William L. Osteen, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
Mr. Farmer previously worked for the Firm from 2014 to 2017. Prior to rejoining the Firm, he was a partner at Schmoyer Reinhard, LLP and a Director at Fennemore Craig, P.C., where his practice focused on labor and employment, construction, and business litigation.
