Mr. Lamp is Board Certified in Labor and Employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and his practice focuses on the representation of both private and public sector employers in all forms of labor, employment and civil rights matters.  Mr. Lamp has successfully defended claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, and other statutory and common law claims, including wrongful termination, workers compensation retaliation and various tort claims.  Mr. Lamp also has significant experience defending governmental entities and public officials from civil rights claims, whistleblower claims, and other causes of action unique to the public sector.  Mr. Lamp frequently provides training to employers on a variety of topics and is a frequent presenter of topics at employment seminars.

Education and Honors
Mr. Lamp received his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991, and received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1997.  While in law school, Mr. Lamp was a member of the Editorial Board of the South Texas Law Review.

Affiliations
Mr. Lamp is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of Texas, and is also a member of the Texas Council of School Attorneys.
