Ms. Morris's practice is focused in the areas of construction and real estate, including consultation through all phases of construction and land acquisition, preparation of construction and real estate contracts and related documents, public procurement law, contract negotiations, due diligence, land development and permitting; eminent domain/condemnation, construction and design disputes, surety claims, and mechanic's and materialman's liens. Ms. Morris is admitted to practice before all Texas Courts, and is also admitted to practice before U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

She was also the recipient of the Outstanding Female Graduate Award and the Dean's Outstanding Advocate Award. She was also selected for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers: Rising Stars (2005).
