Mr. Nichols' practice primarily involves the representation of school districts in a wide variety of matters including special education, personnel, student discipline, open government, board governance and contracts.  Mr. Nichols has a long history of successful representation of school districts before the federal and state courts (both jury and non-jury trials) and administrative agencies.  Mr. Nichols frequently conducts trainings for school districts with focuses on employment and personnel issues, student discipline and special education law.
 

Mr. Nichols, former shareholder and managing partner with the education law firm of Henslee, Fowler, Hepworth & Schwartz, L.L.P., joined Feldman & Rogers in 2007.
 

Education and Honors

Mr. Nichols received his B.B.A. from Baylor University in 1989, and received his J.D. from Baylor University in 1993.  Mr. Nichols is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Texas.
